James Roland Jackson was born Nov. 2, 1967 and passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the age of 56. James enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Cates; siblings, Harry Cates, Brenda Snell and husband Pudgie; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Jackson; and brother, Michael Cates.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
