DeQuincy Elementary School will register new students on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 5 and 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Students new to Calcasieu Parish should bring the following documents to enroll:
Birth certificate, Social Security card, Immunization record, Photo identification of student’s parent or guardian
Address verification, including an electric bill and another utility bill showing the household’s street address, Custody papers, if applicable
Class Rosters will be posted Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 12 p.m.
Meet the teacher for all students will be Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 3 to 4 p.m.
The 3rd grade students will meet in the cafeteria at 4 p.m. for a parent meeting.
The first day of school is Friday, Aug. 9.
