Parents/guardians of children ages 2-17, visit your local library branch to update the account preferences on your child’s card by the June 1, deadline!
A new law went into effect this year where parents/guardians are required to select a card-type for their minor and any account that has not been updated by the June 1 deadline will be expired. Parents are asked to update their child’s card now to prevent service disruptions.
(Please note: If you have already updated your child’s account or do not have any minor accounts associated with your account, you are good to go and your card(s) will not expire.)
