For the 3rd time this season the South Beauregard Golden Knights have beaten the Kinder Yellowjackets. This time 2 of those wins came in a best of 3 series in the Division 3 Non-Select Regional Playoffs.
The Knights took both games 12-2 and 11-0.
Both teams faced each other once in district with South Beau also winning that game 10-4.
In game one of the series Jace Duhon pitched 5 innings recording 8 strikeouts.
Jed Henry went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Bryce Deason went 1-2 with an RBI, Layden Sepulvado went 1-2, Noah Fontenot went 1-4, Cy Barrow went 1-2 with 3 RBIs, and Christian Wold went 1-2 with 2 RBIs. South Beauregard won the first game 12-2 in 5 innings.
In game two Clayton Folkes pitched 5 innings and recorded 8 strikeouts and only gave up 1 hit.
Gunner Courtney went 2-2 with 4 RBIs, Jed Henry went 1-2 with 2 RBIs, Bryce Deason went 0-2 but scored an RBI, Luke Brister went 1-2, Noah Fontenot went 1-2, and Luke Fontenot went 0-2 but scored 2 RBIs.
South Beauregard won game 2 11-0 and won the two games to none.
They will host Loreauville in a best of 3 quarterfinal series this Friday and Saturday.
