Maxcille Treme was born Aug. 10, 1931, and passed away Thursday, Apr. 11, 2024, at the age of 92. Maxcille was a faithful member of The Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy.
She is survived by her children, Donna Gale Brantley and husband Ernest, Roger Dale Cobb and wife Anne, Donald Ray Cobb and wife Debra, Garland Treme and wife Nona, Darrell “Dody” Treme and wife Renee, and Brady Treme and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Matthew, Jessica, April, Chad, Brandy, Anne, Jessica, Andy, Kevin, LeAnne, Brad, Jeron, Dustin, and Benjamin; along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Treme; parents, Alfred David Marcantel and Odelia “Hun” Marcantel; and siblings, Shirley Marcantel and Marguerite Marcantel.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m., Sunday, Apr. 14, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Funeral service were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Apr. 15, at The Pentecostal Church in DeQuincy. Pastor Wayne Neyland and Rev. Kim Marcantel officiated. Interment followed at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
