Rhett Joseph Miller, 46, of Paola, Kansas died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024. He was born on July 26, 1977 in Lake Charles.
He was a resident of Lake Charles throughout his childhood where he attended St. Margaret and St. Louis Catholic Schools. He was on the the Lake Charles Junior Olympics boxing team. He was employed as a service technician at Auto-Chlor System in Kansas and he was a member of Living Proof Church in Paola, Kan.
Survivors are his father Tim Miller and wife Cheryl; sister, Renee’ Belcher and husband Dan of Spring Hill, Kan.; step brothers, Ben and Luke Grimmett.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Miller; maternal grandparents, J. L. Hodges and wife Lettie of Ragley.
Funeral service was held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, Apr. 5. Rev. Jace Eskind of St. Martin De Pores Catholic Church officiated. Burial followed at Consolata Cemetery.
