Lady Tigers fall hard to Grand Lake

It was a rough day for the DeQuincy Lady Tigers softball team as they were hoping to start the week right. That didn’t go as planned thanks to the Grand Lake Lady Hornets and their 6th inning surge of runs to run rule DeQuincy.

Emily Cooley went 2-4 with 3 RBIs, and Aubree Royer went 1-3.

Lady Tigers lose a heartbreaker to Welsh

It was a game that the DeQuincy Lady Tigers went into with a lot of confidence after beating Lake Arthur two days prior. Unfortunately the Lady Tigers 5-3 lead going into the bottom of the 7th was erased by a couple of solid hits by Welsh. The Lady Hounds put runners in scoring position that ultimately proved costly for DeQuincy in the end as Welsh walked off DeQuincy in heartbreaking fashion.

Emily Cooley went 2-4 with an RBI, Maddie Vinatieri went 1-3, Aubree Royer went 2-4, Bryah LeDay went 2-4 with an RBI, Miley Moore went 1-4 with an RBI, Kamryn Mitchell went 1-4, and Kayden Whotte went 1-3.
