The Stark Experiment to perform at Railroad Festival

The Stark Experiment featuring Tod Stark will be performing on the Main Stage on Saturday, Apr. 13, from 7-8:30 p.m. during the 2024 Louisiana Railroad Days Festival.

Tod Stark of The Stark Experiment is from DeQuincy. He is the son of Sondra Stark – owner of Sondra Stark School of Dance. At the age of 8, Stark grew up playing high school dances and then touring Honky Tonks, Festivals, and Concerts all over the USA. Playing Rock, Blues, and Country. His favorite style of music is Louisiana Swamp Pop! “It reminds me of playing the VFW dance halls that were always packed all across southern Louisiana” “Music has definitely taken me on an amazing ride all over the USA and Europe doing shows with Hall & Oates, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Joe Walsh, Three Dog Night, Tracy Byrd and Mark Chesnutt. But I have to say my most favorite show that I have ever done was playing the drums for Chuck Berry in 1995. Now that was a very special moment!”

“I am very looking forward to being home and seeing family and friends. The band that’s with me are world-class pros with special guitarist, Todd Howard of The Granger Smith band and from Los Angeles, my actor brother Craig Stark.

“Thanks again for having me at the 2024 DeQuincy Railroad Festival! I Love DeQuincy!
