It’s not often that the Barbe Buccaneers baseball team loses a game, in fact they have only lost 9 games in the past 3 years which is remarkable!
Coach Jeremy Deville and his Golden Knights went and competed in one of the toughest tournaments in the state over the weekend first playing Barbe on Thursday night who had beat the Knights 14-3 in Longville two weeks prior.
The Knights came to Lake Charles and upset the Bucs 3-1 which other than their 2017 state championship, this is most likely the biggest win in program history!
Luke Brister, Clayton Folks, and Christian Wold all had each an RBI which was the difference in the ball game.
It’s worth noting that the Knights also upset highly ranked Evangel Christian 8-4 on Friday night in the Barbe tournament.
