Margaret Ann Davis Rawlinson was born on May 1, 1946, in Liberty, Texas. She was the third child of four children. Margaret passed away at her home on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, with her husband at her side.
She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond E. Rawlinson Jr; parents, Sam and Louise Bell Davis; brothers, Rev. Harold Davis and Rev. William Davis; brothers-in-law, Robert Rawlinson, Wayne Rawlinson, and Charles Luquette; and sister-in-law, Barbara Solis.
Maragret is survived by her husband, Raymond E. Rawlinson Sr.; grandson, Cameron A. Rawlinson; daughter-in-law, Kelli Rawlinson; sister, Connie Davis; sisters-in-law, Carol Davis, Karen Davis Butcher (JD), Wanda Rawlinson, May Sanders (Bud), and Teresa Rawlinson; brother-in-law, Jakie Rawlinson (Bess); along with numerous other family members and friends.
The family received friends from 6-9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 12, with the funeral service held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13, at The Family Church, 9456 N Hwy 146, Liberty, Texas. Interment followed at Fairlawn Cemetery, Liberty, Texas. Rev. Nick Oyer, Mr. Tim Davis, and Bishop James Baker officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
