Drake Lee West was born April 20, 2000, and passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at the age of 23.
He is survived by his parents, Mikel and Monica West; brothers, Jerry West, Austin Rodriguez, Ashton Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Dominic Rodriguez, and Kaegon Drake; and his paternal grandmother, Betty West.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry West; and maternal grandparents, George and Louise Drake.
The family received friends from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks. Darrel Solonka and Pastor Jeremy Shields officiated. Interment followed VFW Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
