Jimmy W. Dunham died Friday, Jan. 19, 2024. He was born in Marcantel Settlement in DeQuincy and was a resident of Denham Springs. He was an inventor who had multiple patents and he was a master mechanic. He was a member of Watson Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Sherrie Dougay (Charles), Ricky Dunham (Susan “Squeaker”), and Kenneth Dunham (Sharon); seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie L. Dunham and Octavia Langley Dunham; spouse, Vera Krumholt Dunham; and six siblings.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 26, from 1-3 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 3 p.m. at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs.
