Singer High
Joshua Mitchel has been named Singer High School Student of the Year.
Mitchell is a Senior. He is the 18 year old son of Tiffany and Joshua Mitchell. He has two brothers and one sister. He is a member of Beta, Student Council, FFA, and FCA. He plans on attending McNeese to study mechanical engineering, with a minor in resource management.
Mitchell’s dream is to work in the forestry department to develop new ways to not only minimize our impact on forests during logging, but also to replenish our resources so that they can serve future generations.
Singer Middle
Landri Sandifer has been named Singer’s Middle School Student of the Year.
Sandifer is in the 8th grade. She is the 13 year old daughter of Scott and Jennifer Sandifer. She had three brothers: Cameron, Gavin, Aidan.
Sandifer’s interests include basketball, softball, Beta, and Student Council.
Singer Elementary
Layce Albert has been named Singer’s Elementary Student of the Year.
Albert is a 5th grader at SHS. She is the 10 year old daughter of Lauren and Edward Albert. She has two brothers, Tripp and Leevi. Her interests are softball, deer hunting, fishing, Beta, and being a good influencer. Albert wants to be a vet, chef, massage therapist, or a game warden when she grows up.
