The City Council of the City of DeQuincy met in a special session on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., at the DeQuincy City Hall, 300 N. Holly Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana, with the following members present: Margaret Brown, Eddy Dahlquist. Jim Smith and Scott Wylie. Absent: Cameron Smith.
The meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m. by Eddy Dahlquist and the roll was called with the above result.
There was no public comment.
A motion was made by Scott Wylie and seconded by Margaret Brown to approve a variance for Marvin Bowman to allow a mobile to be placed on the property at 230 East Street which is smaller than the city ordinance. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Margaret Brown, Eddy Dahlquist, Jim Smith, and Scott Wylie. Nays: None. Absent. Cameron Smith, Abstain: None
There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Scott Wylie and seconded by Margaret Brown to adjourn the meeting.
