The CPKC Holiday Express Train is returning to DeQuincy this Christmas! The train will be here starting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, on the tracks in front of DeQuincy Railroad Museum at 400 Lake Charles Ave.
The train has six festive and beautifully adorned train cars – and Santa Claus! It’s free to visit.
Santa and his elves are visiting 20 communities in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. We’re happy to once again be on his list! Stay tuned for updates.
This train will continue its charitable tradition with The Salvation Army this year, and has raised over $3.1 million in 22 years.
DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce will host a Christmas Market with vendors. DeQuincy Railroad Museum will be open for tours and the gift shop will offer affordable gift shopping. Admission to the train and museum is free to the public.
