Jerry Finis Barrow was born Oct. 2, 1938 in DeQuincy, and passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023 in Starks, at the age of 85.
He is survived by his children, Bryan Barrow and wife, Jennifer, Sonya Barks and husband, Randy, and J. J. Barrow and partner, Andy; grandchildren, Alex, Axel and Austin; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Kai; sisters, Beatrice Rumby, Delores Crabtree Franks and Sandra Verdine; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Barrow; parents, Samuel and Bessie May Barrow; brothers, Sam Barrow, Jr., J. H. Barrow and Waylon Barrow; sisters Katherine “Pug” Bickham; Alma Barrow, Linda Barrow and Evelyn Smith.
A graveside will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Barrow Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
