Sharon Wilkerson was born July 1, 1947, and passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at the age of 76.
She is survived by her children, Reghan Berry and partner, Jeffery Sheppard, Rusty Wilkerson and wife, Patrice, and Robin Boehm and partner, Alton Buckingham; and George Nolan and wife; Debbie; grandchildren, Kinsey Owens and husband, Jesse, Stephen Wilkerson, Logan King, Sully Pope, Joseph Beard, and Taylor Sheppard; and great-grandchildren, Amilia, Rose, Sylvia, and Sophia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilkerson; Dan Smart; daughter, Raelynn Williford; son, Richard “Ricky” Wilkerson; grandsons, Michael Wilkerson and Kenny Williford; numerous siblings; and parents, Hubert and Louise Corrigan.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Calvary Baptist Church in Deweyville, Texas. Pastor John Fortenberry officiated. Interment followed at Deweyville Cemetery in Deweyville.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
