The Miss Merry Christmas pageant was canceled due to lack of entries. As eight entries were received and these were prepared for the pageant the Executive Board of the Commerce made the decision to award each of these a title and a crown.
Those who received the titles are: Miss Merry Christmas Matilda Bernice Boyette, daughter of Angelle and David Boyette; Jr. Miss Merry Christmas Abbaigail Arnold, daughter of Stephen Arnold and April Jordy; Baby Miss Oakylnn Rae Simon daughter of Alex and Misty Simon; Toddler Miss, Emer Lux Guidry, daughter of Alexis and Kamnn Guidry; Petite Miss, Sadie Woodard, daughter of Clay Woodard and Michelle Romero; Tiny Miss Delta Rayne Perkins daughter of Dallas and Shania Perkins; Little Miss Madeline Adela Solea daughter of Asha and hayden; Darling Miss Natalee Hess, daughter of Ronald Lee Hess, Jr. and Megan Burnett.
Make plans to cheer on the beautiful young ladies at the Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. Then join the fun at the Railroad Museum stage. There will be lots of music, dancers and Joe Suchanek and Friends band.
