That on October 03, 2023, Cameron Interstate Pipeline, LLC (“CIP”) filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“Commission”) an application for authorization pursuant to Section 7 of the Natural Gas Act (“NGA”). CIP is seeking a certificate of public convenience and necessity to construct, operate, and maintain the Holbrook Expansion Project (“Project”) on its existing Cameron Interstate. CIP is proposing in this application to install two additional compressor units and appurtenant facilities at the CIP’s existing Holbrook Compressor Station located in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
CIP respectfully requests the Commission grant authorization of this application by January 31, 2025.
The Commission has assigned docket number CP24-1-000 for the application. The application is on file with the Commission and available for public inspection. More specific descriptions of the nature of CIP’s request is set forth in the application, as filed with the Commission and available for public inspection. The Commission has published a pamphlet, “An Interstate Natural Gas Facility on My Land?,” describing among other things, the FERC approval process and outlining the rights of landowners.
