Bro. Ulysses Jamison was born Sept. 22, 1948, and passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at the age of 74.
He is survived by his wife of 34 1/2 years, Ernestine Jamison; children, Anderia Marie Samuels, Angela Je’ani Jamison, Miriam Renee Green and husband, Omoboye, Sara Lynn Sermon and husband, Joshua, and Josiah Jonathan Jamison; grandchildren, Isaiah, Carlyia, Ava, Ezra, Autumn, Princeton, Samara, and Gianni; brother, RJ Jamison; sister, Ruth Jamison; nieces, Michelle Robertson, Tamera Williams, and Keisha; along with a host of many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Fannie Porter Jamison; and his brother, Robert Jamison.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 26, at Bethel Tabernacle.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
