Robert Joseph Guidry, Jr, 64, of DeQuincy died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023.
He was born in Lake Charles. He was a lifelong resident of Louisiana and worked as a Pipeline Equipment Operator out of Local 406. He then spent many years in Lake Charles and Baton Rouge as Sales and Sales Manager for Automotive Dealerships. He retired in August of 2022 then moved back to Lake Charles.
Survivors include his sister, Glenda Goodwin; ex-wife, Shelly Guidry; stepdaughter, Tashia Hebert; and two step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rowena Guidry Robert Guidry Sr.; one brother; stepmom, Mary Guidry and stepson, Bliss Trahan.
Funeral services were held at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Burial followed at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles.
