In the last several weeks, there has been some concerns about the grass and weeds not being mowed around the Buxton Creek drainage ditches. Hank Frazier, DeQuincy Public Works Director, wishes to inform the public that this responsibility is that of the Drainage Board and not the responsibility of our city work crew.
Any comments or concerns regarding this matter should be directed to the drainage board. Our crews work diligently on numerous projects concerning grass and weeds around our city. However, this task is for the drainage board and again these concerns should be addressed to them. Frazier appreciates our citizens concerns and he just wanted to advise them who has that responsibility.
