Wilbert Ray Jones was born Oct. 15, 1944, and passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the age of 79.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, and will continue from 8 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Greater Hayes Chapel A M E Church, 602 Mill Street, Oakdale. Pastor Margaret Sims and Officiant Randy Williams will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakdale Community Cemetery in Oakdale.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
