DeQuincy High
DeQuincy High School will register new students on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 3-4, and Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 8-9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Students new to Calcasieu Parish should bring the following documents to enroll:
Birth certificate; Social Security card; Immunization record; Photo identification of student’s parent or guardian; Address verification, including an electric bill and another utility bill showing the household’s street address; Custody papers, if applicable.
Orientation for all students will be Wednesday, Aug. 9 from 9 to 10 a.m. or 1 to 2 p.m. in the school gym. Attendees should park in the student parking lot on the west side of campus and enter through the red door on the west side of the gym.
Student fees of $30 may be paid, and yearbooks may be purchased, online at https://cpsb.org/dequincyhigh.
Student fees also may be paid at orientation; cash or check only is accepted as payment. Students will be able to order a 2023-24 yearbook at orientation for $40.
School shirts will not be sold at orientation but may be ordered by visiting https://bit.ly/2LINnHM. Orders placed online by Friday, July 21, will be available for pickup at orientation. Orders placed after July 21 will be available after the beginning of school.
Student parking tags will be available the first week of school for $10. Proof of valid driver’s license and insurance is required, and fees must be paid in order to purchase.
The first day of school is Friday, Aug. 11. All seniors must report to first hour for homeroom.

DeQuincy Middle
New Student Registration will be Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 1-4, from 8-11 a.m. at DeQuincy Middle School.
The following documents will be required:
Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, Legal documents if applicable ex. Custody, foster care, or adoption documents, Social Security Card, Photo ID of Parent/Guardian
Two current utility bills of the homeowner with the Service address listed. One must be the electric bill. Other utility statements may be a gas bill, water bill, or cable TV bill. Lease/rent agreements are also accepted provided the parent’s name is listed on the lease. Report Card from previous year.
Orientation for DeQuincy Middle School is as follows: Tuesday, Aug. 8, 6th grade at 5:30 p.m. in the gym; Wednesday, Aug. 9, 7th and 8th grade at 5:30 p.m. in the gym.
First day of school is Friday, Aug. 11.
DeQuincy Elementary

Singer High
Singer High School will hold its Meet & Greet on Monday, Aug. 7, from 5-7 p.m. You will be able to meet your child’s teacher, purchase PBIS Spirit Shirts, drop off classroom supplies, and pay classroom fees.
