Monique Louise Babin-Elam was born Dec. 13, 1965, and passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at the age of 57. She was a dedicated nurse for Amedisys Hospice and was highly thought of by her patients and fellow nurses.
She is survived by her children, Lynsey Badon, Alexis Juneau (Keenan), and Jordan Elam; grandchildren, Chaeleigh, Hayesleigh, and Rynleigh; mother, Jeannine Chambers; and sisters, Shawntel and Michelle Hafer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Babin; grandparents, Norma and Snucky Watson; and the man she knew as dad, Arnold “Jack” Hafer.
A private interment will be held at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
