DeQuincy Senior Reese Ashworth was named class 2A All State MVP on the recently released Louisiana Sports Writers Association All State team. Ashworth made the first team All State squad at the Pitcher position.
Sammy Maddox was named to the honorable mention Allstate squad as well.
Both Seniors had a great season as they advanced all the way to the Championship game in 2A.
