Lydia Dardar, a senior track student-athlete at DeQuincy High School, placed second in the 100 meter dash at the 2A-Region 2 Track Meet held at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She ran a time of 12.75 second.
Dardar will compete in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association State Track Meet to be held at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium on the campus of Louisiana State University on Friday, May 5, at 4 p.m. While there, she will also be recognized as a member of the LHSAA Academic All-State Track Team.
