Mary Alice Linker McFatter, 87, of Sulphur, died Tuesday, Apr. 4, 2023 in Lake Charles.
She graduated from Sulphur High School, where she was a member of the Royal Clippers. She also attended McNeese State University.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel McFatter of Sulphur, John McFatter (Marjorie Dupont) of DeQuincy; daughter, Genny Dunn (Jerry) of Carlyss; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Huey Kyle McFatter; parents, Louis and Virginia Linker; one sister; and grandson, Michael Thomas Dunn.
A celebration service was held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, Apr. 10, with Chaplain Jeff Hopper officiating. Burial followed at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss.
