John Ward Roark, 64, of Lake Charles died Thursday, Mar. 30, 2023 in his residence.
He was born in Kaptai, East Pakistan and was raised in Merryville where he was a graduate of Merryville High School. He retired from Citgo as a logistics manager after many years of service.
He wis survived by his children, Tyler Roark of Moss Bluff, Lindsey Roark of Moss Bluff, and Kristi Thompson (James) of Lacassine; siblings, Pete Leathard of Alaska and Mavis Wright of New Zealand; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Roark and his parents, Jane and Guy Roark.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
