Singer vs. Hornbeck

Hornbeck runs away with early lead in victory over Singer. Singer fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 12-2 loss to Hornbeck on Monday.

Singer struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hornbeck, giving up 12 runs.

Dylan Conner started the game for Singer. The hurler lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and 12 runs while striking out six. Kohlson Moore threw one-third of an inning in relief.

Singer hit one home run on the day. Caston Perkins put one out in the first inning.

Singer vs. South Beauregard

Singer loses lead early in defeat. Singer watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-0 loss to South Beauregard on Thursday. South Beauregard scored on an error and a single by Luke Brister in the first inning.

Singer struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing South Beauregard, giving up 14 runs.

South Beauregard opened up scoring in the first inning. An error scored one run for South Beauregard.
One bright spot for Singer Hornets Varsity was a single by Caston Perkins in the first inning.

Carter Caraway got the start for South Beauregard. The bulldog allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Kohlson Moore led things off on the mound for Singer. The hurler lasted three innings, allowing seven hits and 13 runs while striking out four. Kolten Royer threw one inning out of the bullpen.

Perkins and Royer all had one hit to lead Singer Hornets Varsity.

Singer vs. Lake Charles College Prep

Singer couldn’t catch up to Lake Charles College Prep. Singer fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 18-5 loss to Lake Charles College Prep on Saturday.

Singer struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Lake Charles College Prep, giving up 18 runs.

Caston Perkins toed the rubber for Singer. Perkins surrendered nine runs on nine hits over three and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero. Kolten Royer threw three and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Dylan Conner went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Singer in hits. Singer stole five bases during the game as two players stole more than two.
