Carolyn Ann Bunch, 69, passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023 in a local hospital.
She was a native of DeQuincy and had been a longtime resident of the Big Woods community. Carolyn enjoyed working crossword puzzles, crocheting, and taking care of her family. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in DeQuincy.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jerry Bunch; and her children, Kayla Bunch and Jake Bunch, all of Big Woods.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alroy and Mary Lucille “Mack” Perkins; and her brothers, John and Mike Perkins.
Her funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy. The Rev. Jered Thomas officiated. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy. Visitation for Carolyn was held from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in the funeral home.
