DeQuincy high schools boys basketball team started District last week and dropped two games.
DeQuincy lost to Vinton in a home contest 56-47.
DeQuincy then went on the road to Welsh and dropped the contest 77-60.
Next up for the Tigers was a home game against Notre Dame on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
