Jared “Big J” Michael Moore was born on Oct. 20, 1981, and passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2022, at the age of 41.
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Avis Moore; brother, Ben Moore and wife, Misty; niece, Gabrielle Moore; nephew, Zachary Moore; paternal grandmother, Donatile Moore; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Harvey Martin and Alma LaCaze Martin; and paternal grandfather, Percy Moore.
The family received friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. with the funeral service following at 12 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, at United Pentecostal Church of Bridge City. Interment followed at Big Woods Cemetery in Vinton.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy.
