Sammy Lisotta was born on June 2, 1952, and passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at the age of 70. Sammy was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing and mowing on his bush hog. He also enjoyed having a big Barbeque with his friends and family. He was a very inventive person who loved science-fiction and technology.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tressie Lisotta; children, Edward Lisotta, Daniel Lisotta, and Brenda Guillory; granddaughter, Ambreah Lisotta; and his sisters, Gaynell Gehrig and husband, Doug, and Cynthia Beaugh and husband, Timmy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Salvador and Edna Lisotta; and sister, Mary Catherine Reeves.
The family received friends from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th St., DeQuincy.
