Last week, the DeQuincy Police Department had a very distinguished visitor, Braxton Paul Richardson, age 6. Richardson had a homework assignment to interview a police officer and ask them several questions.
The first question that he asked to Chief Casey Whitehead and Major Jerry Bell was “Why do you want to be a Police Officer”? Both Chief Whitehead and Major Bell answered, “because we like helping people”.
A photo was taken of Braxton along with his two favorite Police Officers, Chief Whitehead and Major Bell.
