Dalton Anthony Miller, 79, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 at his home after a lengthy deterioration from Lewy Body Dementia.
He graduated from Merryville High School and later from McNeese State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served as a deacon at First Moss Bluff since 1984. He worked at PPG from 1967 until his retirement in 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Sammie Miller; children, Keith and wife Lauri, Carmen and Kevin; twin sisters, Frances Lucille Baldwin and Frankie Louise Miller; three granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dugan and Mae Miller; one brother; and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at First Baptist Church Moss Bluff. Revs. Bill Saxby and Ray Swift officiated. Interment was at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Bluff.
