Denise Maddox is seeking re-election for the position of DeQuincy City Council At-Large position.
Maddox is a lifelong resident of DeQuincy and graduate of DeQuincy High School. She is beginning her 30th year in education. Her experience includes teaching at DeQuincy High School and Calcasieu Hospital Homebound, Calcasieu Parish 504 Coordinator, Assistant Principal at DeRidder High School, and Principal at Singer High School. This year she is re-entering the classroom at DeQuincy Primary School.
She has served the citizens of DeQuincy on various boards and has been on the DeQuincy City Council for the past 22 years as Council Member in District 1 and Council At-Large.
Maddox has been married to James Maddox for 30 years and they have two children, Staci and Caleb.
