Eugene Broxson, Jr., 78, died Saturday, June 25, 2022.
He was born in De Quincy. He served in the US Army in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Sr & Ira Bea (Shroll) Broxson and Sister, Sondra Aline (Broxson) Hyman of Metairie.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Corinne Hale Broxson of Leesville; son, Preston Eugene Broxson and Pamela Watson of Leesville; daughter, Sarah Grace (Broxson) Ellis and husband, Robert Ellis, Jr. of Dallas, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
He retired from ATT/Bellsouth Telecommunications with 30+ years of service and started a second career as a Role Player at Fort Polk for 10+ years with Cubic/Valiant.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 30 at Myer s-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors was held Friday, July 1, at Central Veterans Cemetery in Leesville. Rev. Jim Miers and Rev. Guy Snyder officiated.
