A Real Impact Missions group from Dallas, Texas was in DeQuincy June 18-25 to help continue home repairs and recovery from Hurricanes Laura and Delta almost two years ago. The team worked on two homes in DeQuincy doing home repairs, debris removal, and some rebuilding projects, and was able to assist some families who were in need of those repairs. The team also served at a church in Lake Charles.
Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church hosted the team for the week. We were so blessed to be a part of rebuilding homes and serving families in this wonderful community.
We would love to let the city of DeQuincy know about the work and how much this little town made an impact on us.
