The City Council of the City of DeQuincy met in special session on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 4:45 p.m., at the DeQuincy City Hall, 300 N. Holly Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana, with the following members present: Margaret Brown, Judy Landry, and Mark Mark Peloquin. Absent: Denise Maddox and Ronda Jacobs.
The meeting was called to order at 4:45 p.m. by Mark Peloquin and the roll was
called with the above result.
There was no public comment.
A motion was made by Margaret Brown and seconded by Judy Landry to adopt a resolution authorizing Mayor Smith to apply with the Calcasieu Parish Road and Drainage Trust Fund for a grant to improve drainage along Hayes Street. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Margaret Brown, Judy Landry, and Mark Peloquin. Nays: None. Absent: Denise Maddox and Ronda Jacobs. Abstain: None.
There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Judy Landry and seconded by Margaret Brown to adjourn the meeting.
