Singer has three individuals place first at district meet

Singer track team had three individual district champions crowned at their District 5B meet.

Tate Hess took home the shotput championship with a throw of 41 feet 5 inches.

Kailynn “KK” Thibodeaux took home the shotput championship with a throw of 29 feet 8 inches.

Monica Burnett took home the championship in the 100 meter dash as she turned in a time of 14.6.

All three of these qualified for the regional meet held Tuesday, Apr. 26, at Tioga High School. Events began at 3 p.m.

Also qualifying in their events were Dylan Conner in the mile run. He placed 2nd with a time of 5:24.

Monica Burnett placed second in the Javelin.

Breezy Mitchell placed third in the 110 M hurdles.

Korvin Rigdon placed 3rd in the javelin.

Joseph Mitchell placed 4th in the 110 M hurdles.

Cheyenne Shultz placed 4th in the 400 meter run.
