Christopher Percle

Christopher Allen Percle, 55, died Tuesday, Apr. 12, 2022, in his home. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur.

He was born in Lake Charles. He attended St. Louis High School and was a part of the defensive line on the football team there. Geaux Saints! He was a delivery driver for Borden’s Milk before starting his 28-year career at Firestone Polymers, from which he eventually retired.

He is survived by his wife, Medina Percle; parents, Howard and Nancy Percle; six siblings, Howard Percle Jr., of Tatum, Texas; Julie Percle Fontenot of Iowa; Joey Percle of New Iberia; Susie “SueSue” Percle of Jennings; Jane Percle Arabie of Ragley; and Greg Percle of Lake Charles; four children, Cammy Percle Gilley, and husband Cody of Sulphur; Anthony Basco, and partner Timothy Dykes of Baton Rouge; Sarah Basco of Lacassine; and Jessica Percle of Lake Charles; and seven grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Tuesday, Apr. 19, with Father Tim Goodly officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
