Katherine Marie Benoit, 87, of Ragley died Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 in a local hospital.
She was a native of Ragley, formerly of Lake Charles. She was born in Hayes and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Ragley.
She is survived by her three daughters, Judy (Lamar) Hayes of Longville; Loraine (David) Oliver and Jenifer Benoit, all of Ragley; two sons, Aaron (Tina) Benoit of Ragley; and Lonnie (Lori) Benoit of Moss Bluff; 21 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Valmont “Skip” Benoit, Jr.; parents, Amos and Ernestine Ledoux; one brother; one sister; and two grandsons, Rusty Alvin Hayes and Garrett Ross Dupree.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Pius X Catholic Church Friday, Jan. 21, with Father Jeffrey Starkovich officiating. Burial followed at Highland Memory Gardens.
