Virginia “Jenny” Theressa Ardoin, 60, of Sulphur died on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Rayne. She was a native of Crowley and later resided in Sulphur.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Davis Ancelet of Vinton; children, Joshua (Teri) Berry of Vinton, Ken Johns of Sulphur, Allan (Amanda) Ardoin of Denham Springs, Andela (Nip) LaRose of Sulphur, Trisca (John) Doucet of DeQuincy, Kadondra Ardoin of Denham Springs; 21 grandchildren; siblings, Billy, Tommy, Larry, Eddie, Curtis, Ramona, and Vina Ancelet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ray Ardoin; and dad, Larry Ancelet Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with Elder Eric Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Ardoin Cove Cemetery in Welsh. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
