Walter Douglas Doyle, 77, of Starks died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Murline Ashworth Doyle of Starks; sons, Brian Doyle and Judy of Starks, Roger Doyle and Kaylan of DeRidder, Calvin Doyle and Rachel of Longville, Leslie Doyle and Reyhana of Merryville; daughter, Jennifer Barrow and Bryan of Starks; brothers, John Doyle of Clinton, Ark., and William Doyle of Gladewater, Texas; sisters, Mary Shields of Austin, Texas, Wanda English of Hemphill, Texas, Patricia Miller of Baytown, Texas, Martha Calhoun of Leesville, and Doris Doyle of Bossier City; one grandson; one great-grandson; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Gladys Doyle; and granddaughter, Heather.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, Sept. 29, at First Apostolic Church in Merryville. Pastor John Doyle and Brother Jeff Smith officiated. Burial followed at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
