David Glen Williamson, 69, spent most of his childhood in Merryville. He went to Merryville High School. He worked for many years at Louisiana Pacific in Bon Wier, Texas. He was a taxidermist for many years and then the owner of Country Boy’s hardware store in Merryville. He was also a founding member of No Man’s Land Gang – Cowboy Action Shooters. He was also on the original board of commissioners for Beauregard Water Works District Six.
Services were held on Sunday, Sept. 5, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Bro. Eddie Corbett, Sr. officiated. Burial followed at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville.
