LOCAL SALES TAX RATE INCREASE
Effective July 1, 2021, the local sales tax rate in Column N, Nelson Market Economic Devel.opment District will increase by 1.00%. This in.crease will bring the overall local rate in Column N to 6.75%.
The new rate will also reflect an increase of 1% hotel/motel tax in Column F, Nelson Market Eco.nomic Development District of the parish hotel/motel return. This increase will being the overall rate for hotel/motel tax in Column F to 6%,
