BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS HOUSING AUTHORITY
DEQUINCY, LOUISIANA

The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of DeQuincy, La. met in regular session on April 13, 2021 for the following purpose:
Chairman Jerry McCaig called the meeting to order and upon roll call, those present and absent were as follows:
Present: Jerry McCaig, Lynne Treme, Ira Royer, Darlene Hooker, Shirley Bagwell
Absent: Carmen Iley
A quorum present, the following business was transacted. The minutes from March 9, 2021 were reviewed. Lynne Treme made a motion to approve the minutes and Ira Royer seconded. Motion carried.
The financial report for February 2021 was reviewed. The year-to-date actuals were compared to the year-to-date budget. Ira Royer made a motion to accept the financial reports as presented and Darlene Hooker seconded the motion. Motion carried.
An update on the storm repairs were given. All exterior repairs have been completed and interior repairs are in progress.
A letter from Attorney Kevin Fontenot regarding materials purchased by Acadian Heritage Construction after Hurricane Laura was presented and discussed. All members agreed that the settlement to resolve the matter was the best option. Payment was made and a mutual release agreement was signed by both parties.
The vacancy report was presented by Shirley Bagwell.
There being no further business to come before the board, the Chairman thereupon declared meeting adjourned.
