Cody Carpenter was born Apr. 28, 1988 in Abbeville and passed away Monday, Apr. 26, 2021 in Lake Charles at the age of 32.
He is survived by his mother, Ruthie Carpenter; brothers, Joey and Ryan Carpenter; girlfriend, Angela Hagar; nephew, Chad; nieces, Jacelynn, Amelia, Kaylee, and Jayla; and numerous relatives and many friends.
The family receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 29, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Apr. 30. Rev. James Rivers officiated. Interment followed at Felice Cemetery in Ragley.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
