The DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet has been updated due to the State going into Phase 3. The banquet will be held at First United Pentecostal Church, 230 Smith St., on Thursday, Apr. 29, at 7 p.m.
The Chamber received two letters of nomination for the Annual Civic Service Award. The winner will be awarded a Service Plaque at the Annual Banquet.
Nominations for this award are Darlene Hooker and Pastor and Sister Carlton Jackson.
Dr. Kevin Clark will be honored as the Distinguished Person of the Year. Tigerland and owners Ronnie and Jack Marcantel have been named Business of the Year.
The speaker will be Sen. Mike Reese. Tickets are now available for $25 each.
